Our client is seeking a Finance System Analyst to play a key role in the administration and optimisation of finance systems. The successful candidate will lead on supporting and enhancing SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth operation across financial reporting and planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead system administrator for SAP BPC, managing user access, security, data interfaces, and financial data integration.
  • Provide expert user support, maintain intranet resources, and ensure training materials are kept up to date.
  • Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal standards.
  • Liaise across departments to support system integration and evolving business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement, managing system changes and enhancements through formal processes.
  • Evaluate change requests with a focus on system-wide impact and perform testing where required.
  • Support training and knowledge-sharing through well-maintained guides and documentation.
  • Collaborate with finance, HR, business development, and project teams to enhance planning and reporting capabilities.

Skills and Experience

  • Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Experience working with finance systems such as SAP BPC or similar platforms (e.g. Oracle Hyperion).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills with the ability to deliver a high standard of service.
  • An interest in pursuing a finance qualification (support will be provided).
  • Previous experience in system support roles within finance or shared service functions.

You’ll be part of a supportive and skilled Finance Capability Centre within the central Finance function. This role offers hands-on experience with key finance platforms like SAP BPC and Oracle Hyperion. You will manage monthly cycles, troubleshoot issues, perform reconciliations, and contribute to system developments, all while building a robust foundation for career progression in finance systems and reporting.
