We are seeking a talented and experienced regulatory lawyer to join our highly regarded team in either our Leeds or Manchester office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team, delivering high-quality legal advice to a diverse client base across sectors such as advanced manufacturing, energy, financial services, healthcare, retail, and transport. With a focus on both contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients through complex challenges while driving the team’s success. What You\’ll Do: • Provide expert legal advice on regulatory matters, including health & safety, corporate manslaughter, consumer protection, product liability, and food safety. • Act as a trusted advisor, delivering urgent crisis support during major incidents and regulatory investigations. • Represent clients in high-stakes scenarios, including inquests, public inquiries, and prosecutions. • Drive business development initiatives, strengthening client relationships and enhancing the firm’s market presence. • Supervise and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and maintaining a high-performing team. • Leverage AI and innovative technology to deliver efficient and cutting-edge legal solutions. • Manage financial performance for matters, demonstrating commercial acumen and effective budget management. Who We\’re Looking For: • UK-qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE and a proven track record in regulatory health and safety work. • Skilled in handling both contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters with practical, commercially sound solutions. • Experience in related areas such as environmental regulation, ESG, food safety, retail & consumer, or transport sectors is advantageous. • Proven ability to provide crisis support during major incidents or investigations, ensuring effective client outcomes. • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to supervise and mentor team members while engaging and influencing senior-level clients Why Choose Us?
