Overview
Our client, an international law firm, is looking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to manage end-to-end recruitment for a dedicated fee-earning legal division.
This is a broad talent acquisition role combining autonomous hiring, direct sourcing and strategic business partnering. You will work closely with lawyers, hiring managers and wider HR teams, while contributing to recruitment projects and improvements to the candidate experience.
The role has a global remit and includes travel to other UK offices when required.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for fee-earning legal roles, from taking briefs and developing recruitment campaigns through to screening, offers and acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, providing recruitment advice, market insight and guidance on salaries, approvals and hiring decisions.
- Build and manage candidate pipelines, including speculative applications, identifying strong potential candidates ahead of vacancies going live.
- Source and engage talent directly through LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, job boards, referrals, social media, networking and agency relationships.
- Monitor recruitment activity, candidate pipelines, agency performance and diversity using recruitment systems, reporting tools and spreadsheets.
- Support recruitment projects including applicant tracking system implementation, process design, employer branding, inclusive recruitment, agency reviews and talent communities.
- Maintain a responsive and high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring recruitment processes are fair, inclusive and efficient.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Recruitment Advisor, gained either in-house or within a recruitment agency.
- Strong understanding of and experience working within the legal sector.
- Experience of direct sourcing, including using LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Experience managing end-to-end sourcing, attraction and candidate pipelines.
- Experience working within a defined recruitment strategy and process.
- Ability to build credible relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels and provide accurate, commercially sound recruitment advice.
- Strong interest in developing recruitment networks, attraction methods and knowledge of emerging hiring tools and technology.
