Our client is seeking an experienced HR Data & Insights Analyst to join their Human Resources team in Manchester. This role is central to delivering accurate, data-driven insights that inform strategic HR decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
You will play a key role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting HR data from multiple sources, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with HR business partners and stakeholders within a fast-paced, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment.
ResponsibilitiesAs an HR Data & Insights Analyst, you will:
- Gather, organise, and analyse HR data from systems including employee records, performance data, and engagement surveys
- Extract meaningful trends and insights to support strategic workforce planning and HR initiatives
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and visualisations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across HR systems
- Support annual HR processes and projects through data analysis and reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within HR analytics and reporting frameworks
- Experience in an HR Analytics or HR Data role
- Strong understanding of HR processes and people data
- Experience designing and maintaining HR dashboards and reporting tools
- Experience working with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with database management and reporting systems
- Experience with statistical modelling and descriptive statistics would be advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Confidence in interpreting complex data and presenting insights clearly
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
