Our client, a growing digital consultancy, is seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to support the delivery of complex digital products and services.
The role will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to embed Agile ways of working, maintain focus on delivery priorities and create an effective, collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage risks and dependencies, remove delivery obstacles and coach colleagues in appropriate Agile and Lean practices.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced digital delivery professional looking to develop further as a consultant and team leader.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of digital products and services within multidisciplinary Agile teams.
- Build and maintain motivated, collaborative and effective delivery teams.
- Embed Agile ways of working across client and project environments.
- Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and show-and-tell sessions.
- Identify delivery obstacles and support teams in resolving them.
- Manage and monitor risks, issues and dependencies.
- Help teams prioritise work and maintain focus on agreed delivery outcomes.
- Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Coach and mentor colleagues in the appropriate use of Agile and Lean tools and techniques.
- Build effective relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.
- Support user-centred approaches throughout digital delivery.
- Use collaboration and project management tools to coordinate activity and track progress.
Requirements
- Experience delivering digital projects within Agile teams.
- Knowledge and practical experience of Agile, Scrum and Lean working practices.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of different sizes and configurations.
- Knowledge and experience of collaboration and project management tools.
- Understanding of user-centred design principles and practices.
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and address risks, dependencies and delivery obstacles.
- Strong facilitation, communication and relationship-management skills.
