Our client, a growing digital consultancy, is seeking a User Researcher (Mid-Level / UX Researcher) to support the delivery of user‑centred digital services across a range of client projects. This role is ideal for a researcher with solid foundational experience looking to further develop their consulting capability. You will work within multidisciplinary agile teams, contributing to impactful digital solutions while growing your expertise in user research and service design.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct user research activities to inform product and service design
- Select appropriate research methods based on the service lifecycle stage
- Support teams in building empathy and understanding of user needs
- Facilitate usability testing and evaluation sessions
- Collect, analyse, and synthesise research data into clear insights and reports
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, linking insights to business and design decisions
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams in agile environments
- Contribute to workshops and stakeholder sessions
- Continuously apply research insights to improve services and user experiences
- Share best practices within the wider research and design community
Requirements
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research
- Working knowledge of user‑centred design principles
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting research findings
- Ability to translate user insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to manage stakeholder challenges
- Understanding of how research aligns with broader client or organisational objectives
- Experience working within agile, multidisciplinary teams
- Exposure to consultancy or client‑facing environments
- Experience facilitating workshops or collaborative sessions
