Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a dynamic HR function supporting business services teams across the UK. This is a commercially focused, business-partnering role where you will work closely with managers to deliver both operational HR support and strategic people initiatives. You will play a key role in driving employee engagement, supporting workforce planning, and contributing to HR projects within a fast-paced, professional services environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to managers across multiple business service functions.
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies and procedures, including employee relations matters such as absence management, disciplinary cases, and grievances.
- Support occupational health processes, employee benefits queries, and general HR advice.
- Partner with the resourcing team on recruitment and hiring activities.
- Manage headcount planning, approvals, and workforce changes.
- Support the development and lifecycle of apprentices, graduates, new joiners, and leavers.
- Produce and analyse monthly HR reports and MI data, identifying trends and insights to inform decision-making.
- Contribute to and support delivery of HR projects and strategic initiatives.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making at a senior level.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role at Advisor level or above.
- Strong HR business partnering experience with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience managing employee relations cases and applying HR policies effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload.
- Experience within a professional services or fast-paced corporate environment.
- CIPD qualification (part or fully qualified) or equivalent experience.
- Degree-level education (or equivalent professional experience).
