A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its London office and play a key role in supporting strategic growth initiatives across the business.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to drive client development, strengthen market positioning and deliver impactful business development strategies.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business development plans, identifying growth opportunities and supporting the firm's client engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Developing and delivering strategic business development and marketing plans
• Working with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for revenue growth
• Supporting key client programmes and account management initiatives
• Leading the preparation of pitches, tenders and proposal documents
• Managing profile-raising campaigns, events and thought leadership activities
• Conducting market, sector and competitor research
• Monitoring business development performance and reporting on key metrics
• Building strong relationships across practice groups and business services teams
• Identifying cross-selling opportunities and supporting client retention strategies
Candidate Profile
• Significant business development experience within a professional services environment
• Strong understanding of strategic business development principles
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
