Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Consultant level) to design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable systems that support high-impact digital services used by large audiences. This role sits within a growing technology consultancy delivering user-centred solutions across government, healthcare, and purpose-driven organisations. You will work closely with delivery teams and clients to enable rapid, reliable software delivery through automation, cloud-native platforms, and modern DevOps practices. The role is varied, technically challenging, and suited to engineers who enjoy ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve platforms and pipelines that enable fast, reliable software delivery.
- Lead and support incident response, including triage, stakeholder communication, and service restoration.
- Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to understand existing ways of working and evolve them effectively.
- Contribute to platform reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Share knowledge and contribute to internal DevOps and engineering communities.
- Ensure all work complies with agreed quality, environmental, and information security standards while working on client engagements.
Requirements
- Commercial experience working in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or related roles.

- Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
