Our client is seeking a Senior Cyber Catastrophe Risk Analyst to strengthen cyber risk assessment and decision-making through advanced modelling and analytics. This role focuses on cyber accumulation management, supporting the development of a robust view of portfolio risk and enhancing early warning capabilities for emerging cyber threats.
You will work closely with stakeholders across cyber, underwriting, actuarial, and claims functions, combining strong technical capability with clear communication to translate complex modelling insights into practical risk management actions.
Responsibilities- Use cyber catastrophe modelling tools to assess and quantify potential risks from cyber events.
- Enhance early warning systems for emerging cyber threats and evaluate potential portfolio impacts.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cyber accumulations, providing guidance and insight to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Collaborate with cyber and wider business teams to develop mitigation strategies and improve risk management processes.
- Collect, validate, and analyse large cyber-related datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Present complex results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences to support informed decision-making.
- Lead cyber vendor model evaluations and support the ongoing development of the organisation’s proprietary view of risk.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic understanding of cyber exposure and accumulation across the enterprise.
- Engage with external stakeholders (e.g. reinsurers and regulators) to support transparency, reporting, and compliance.
- Stay current on advances in cyber modelling methodologies, data sources, and emerging technologies.
- Propose and implement innovative analytical approaches to enhance cyber risk measurement and management.

- Strong knowledge of cyber accumulations and hands-on experience using cyber catastrophe models (e.g. CyberCube, RMS, Guidewire or similar platforms).
- Advanced SQL skills and strong Excel capability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and statutory requirements relevant to risk functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

- Experience using Power BI.
- Python capability for analytics, automation, or data processing.
- Experience in accumulation management or portfolio-level cyber risk reporting.
