Our client is seeking a talented Associate with a background in transactional corporate law to join a high-performing and specialist legal team advising professional services organisations on complex corporate, governance, regulatory, and strategic matters. Responsibilities
- Advising clients on transactional and corporate matters involving professional services organisations
- Supporting UK and international mergers, de-mergers, restructurings, and investment transactions
- Advising on governance structures, constitutional arrangements, and operational frameworks
- Drafting partnership agreements, LLP agreements, governance documents, and related legal documentation
- Advising on regulatory frameworks, compliance matters, and organisational structuring issues
- Supporting clients on strategic commercial and operational matters
- Advising on partnership disputes, restrictive covenants, and team movement matters
- Assisting with regulatory and disciplinary investigations and related advisory work
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Contributing to business development, knowledge sharing, and team growth initiatives
- Supporting transaction delivery and wider client service excellence across the practice
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor experience with a background in corporate transactional law or mainstream corporate M&A
- Approximately 2+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Strong drafting, analytical, and technical legal skills
- The ability to explain complex legal, regulatory, and strategic matters clearly and effectively
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills
- High levels of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- The ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team environment
- An adaptable and inquisitive approach with enthusiasm for learning new areas of law and regulation
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
