Our client is seeking an experienced People Advisor to support a growing and evolving workforce within a fast-paced digital and consultancy environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional who is passionate about employee experience, people operations, and building positive workplace cultures. The successful candidate will provide high-quality advisory support across the employee lifecycle while partnering closely with managers and stakeholders to drive engagement, retention, and continuous improvement. The role combines employee relations expertise, data-driven decision-making, policy development, and people-focused process improvement within a collaborative and agile environment.
Location: Leeds, United Kingdom
Working Pattern: Hybrid working available; requirement to attend the Leeds office at least one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Employee Relations & Manager Support
- Managing a varied employee relations caseload including probation, absence management, grievances, and related people matters.
- Providing practical, people-focused advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders.
- Supporting managers in navigating people management challenges and best practices.
- Ensuring HR processes are compliant, inclusive, and aligned with organisational values.
- Policy & Process Development
- Reviewing, developing, and improving HR policies and procedures.
- Supporting the creation of accessible and user-friendly people processes.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve employee experience.
- Supporting process automation and continuous improvement initiatives where appropriate.
- Data & Insights
- Analysing people data and workforce trends to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Producing reports, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Supporting workforce planning, engagement, and retention initiatives through data analysis.
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
- Coordinating internal communications including newsletters and company-wide updates.
- Supporting diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives across the organisation.
- Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a People Advisor, HR Advisor, or employee relations-focused role.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end employee relations processes.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coaching and advising managers across a range of people matters.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities within fast-paced environments.
- Confidence analysing people data and presenting actionable insights.
- A pragmatic, people-focused, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
Qualifications:
- CIPD qualified or currently working towards certification preferred.
- Experience within consultancy, digital, technology, or high-growth environments.
- Exposure to HR systems, workflow automation, or process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, or diversity and inclusion initiatives.
