Our client, a regional law enforcement body, is seeking a Core Trainer to join its Learning and Development department. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a progressive and professional training team, contributing to the delivery of essential skills and development programmes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a range of high-quality training programmes for officers and police staff.
  • Support new learning initiatives, including the Neighbourhood Policing Programme, Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship, and Police Constable Entry Programme.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of professional development pathways aligned to organisational priorities.
  • Promote and uphold the learning ethos of the department, helping to build capabilities across the workforce.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a teaching qualification or is willing to complete the College of Policing’s Trainer Essentials Programme.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for education and training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a diverse audience.
  • Prior experience in designing and delivering training is desirable.
