Our client is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join its litigation team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This office-based role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of claimant personal injury matters, including Road Traffic Accident (RTA), Employers' Liability (EL), Occupiers' Liability (OL), Public Liability (PL), and other personal injury claims.

The successful candidate will handle cases from the pre-action stage through to trial, working within a collaborative and fast-paced legal team committed to delivering outstanding client service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of claimant personal injury matters, including:
    • Road Traffic Accidents (RTA)
    • Employers' Liability (EL)
    • Occupiers' Liability (OL)
    • Public Liability (PL)
    • Other personal injury claims
  • Conduct all aspects of litigation from pre-action through to trial.
  • Analyse, prioritise and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor case progress and provide updates on changing priorities where required.
  • Maintain accurate, organised and up-to-date case files.
  • Develop robust litigation strategies and ensure compliance with agreed case plans.
  • Deliver high-quality legal work while maintaining billing and performance targets.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
  • Strong experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Excellent drafting, written and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload.
  • Ability to meet time recording and billing targets.
  • Approximately 2+ years' post-qualification experience (desirable).
  • Previous claimant personal injury experience (desirable).
