Reporting to: Digital and Media Communications Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking a Digital and Communications Officer to support the implementation of its Communications and Engagement Strategy. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and communication skills to enhance and maintain a strong digital and media presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of professional, high-quality digital campaigns and communications
  • Raise awareness of programmes and activities across multiple platforms
  • Tailor content to diverse audiences including members and stakeholders
  • Manage and monitor communications for reach and effectiveness

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Content creation and social media engagement
  • Crafting compelling content for newsletters, websites, and tracking engagement
  • Stakeholder engagement and partner liaison
  • Content management across platforms including websites and YouTube
  • Collaborative and innovative team working
  • Engaging audiences through creative, interactive methods
  • Commitment to equal opportunities and non-discrimination
  • Sound understanding of accessibility standards
  • Time management and deadline adherence
  • Proficiency in IT including word processing, email, internet, and databases

Terms and Benefits

  • Part-time, 17.5 hours per week
  • Flexible approach to working hours, with some travel across Scotland required (TOIL scheme in place)
