Our client is seeking an Engagement & Partnerships Communications Officer to join their London-based team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working model (approximately 60% remote, 40% in-person collaboration).

This role sits within a partnerships-focused team responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality communications, strengthening partner engagement, and supporting fundraising and stewardship initiatives.

Salary: £34,894 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality communications and content to support partnership engagement, fundraising, and stewardship activities.
  • Develop and manage an annual communications and engagement calendar for corporate partners and employee audiences.
  • Produce, update, and continuously improve partnership materials, including fundraising and stewardship resources.
  • Create and maintain a library of case studies and visual assets to support proposals, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop compelling, case study-led proposals and donor-facing reports aligned with contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
  • Support the delivery of engagement initiatives involving employees, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
  • Uphold and promote commitments to equity, inclusion, and safeguarding in all activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience creating engaging, audience-specific content for partners, donors, or external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to research, planning, and delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Confidence engaging with external stakeholders in both virtual and face-to-face settings.
  • Knowledge of sustainability or corporate responsibility.
  • Experience within the not-for-profit or voluntary sector.
  • Familiarity with the water, utilities, or related industries.
