DiverseJobsMatter

Location: London – Hybrid working, with 1–2 office days per week

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Application deadline: 2 August 2026 at 5:00pm

Overview

Our client is a purpose-led professional organisation that helps people develop careers in accounting, finance and related fields.

They are seeking a motivated Business Administration Apprentice to support a varied portfolio covering customer services, partnerships, product development and innovation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career or looking to build broader business experience. You will work across several teams, gaining practical insight into how a successful organisation operates while developing transferable administration, communication and project coordination skills.

Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you will complete a recognised Business Administration apprenticeship. You will receive structured learning, dedicated development time and support from experienced colleagues and senior stakeholders.

Unlike many apprenticeship positions, this role offers exposure to multiple business areas. One week you may help coordinate an event, while the next you could support a new project, prepare communications or improve an internal process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across a varied business portfolio, helping teams remain organised and deliver their priorities effectively.
  • Support meetings by preparing agendas, taking accurate notes, recording actions and following up with colleagues.
  • Maintain documents, records and shared information, ensuring materials are accurate, current and easily accessible.
  • Assist with the coordination of projects, events, communications and team activities.
  • Use Microsoft 365 applications to support administration, collaboration, reporting and information management.
  • Work with colleagues and stakeholders across different departments to support effective communication and teamwork.
  • Help monitor tasks, deadlines and agreed actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working as your knowledge and confidence develop.
  • Handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.

Requirements

  • Organised, dependable and able to manage tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • A confident communicator who can develop positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and willing to take responsibility.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Accurate and attentive to detail.
  • Professional, collaborative and able to handle information appropriately.
  • Interested in developing a long-term career in business administration, operations or project support.
  • A recognised Business Administration apprenticeship qualification.
  • Practical experience across multiple departments and business functions.
  • Exposure to experienced professionals and senior leaders.
  • Meaningful responsibilities and opportunities to contribute from the beginning of your employment.
  • Hybrid working, with 1–2 days per week in a London office.
  • Opportunities for additional flexible working arrangements.
  • 25 days’ annual leave, increasing by one day for each completed year of service up to a maximum of 30 days, plus bank holidays.
  • Life assurance and critical illness cover.
  • Enhanced maternity and shared parental leave contributions of up to six months’ full pay, subject to length of service.
  • Regular employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • A supportive, inclusive and collaborative working environment.

Application Process

The planned closing date is 2 August 2026 at 5:00pm.

Our client is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace. Applications are encouraged from candidates of all backgrounds, and recruitment decisions are based on relevant skills, experience and potential.

Reasonable adjustments are available throughout the recruitment process for candidates who require additional support.
