Working hours: 9:00amβ5:30pm, with some flexibility
We are recruiting for an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join a leading law firm at its Bristol office.
Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day delivery of a safe, efficient and cost-effective facilities service. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong operational facilities experience and a sound understanding of health and safety compliance.
Key responsibilities:
β’ Supervising and supporting the local Facilities team
β’ Assisting the Facilities Manager with daily operational management
β’ Managing contractors and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance
β’ Overseeing building services and service level agreements
β’ Acting as a key facilities contact for employees across assigned offices
β’ Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
β’ Supporting energy management, sustainability and carbon-reduction initiatives
β’ Assisting with facilities projects, tenant matters and office improvements
β’ Approving facilities-related invoices within delegated authority
β’ Ensuring facilities services are delivered safely, efficiently and consistently
About you:
You will need substantial experience within facilities or building management, together with the confidence to supervise employees and external contractors.
You should also have:
β’ Strong knowledge of health, safety and workplace welfare regulations
β’ Previous experience supervising a team or managing contractors
β’ Excellent organisational and communication skills
β’ Strong operational oversight and problem-solving abilities
β’ A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between offices
An IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualification would be highly advantageous.
