A leading international professional services organisation is seeking a Document Production Technician to join its established team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced document production professional to join a fast-paced environment supporting business-critical documentation across multiple departments. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing, formatting, proofreading and amending complex documents while ensuring consistently high standards of accuracy and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce, edit and format complex business documents to a high standard
  • Proofread work for spelling, grammar, formatting and consistency
  • Work extensively across Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Visio
  • Assist with document troubleshooting and problem-solving, including corrupt files
  • Manage workflow requests and maintain accurate records of completed work
  • Support colleagues and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in document production processes
  • Work collaboratively within a high-performing document production team

About You

  • Previous document production experience within a professional services environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional proofreading ability
  • Experience working with lengthy, complex or highly formatted documents
  • Audio and copy typing skills with excellent accuracy
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat, PDF editing tools and document management systems
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering excellent service
