  • Collaborate closely with the Co-CEO/Executive Director to ensure the organisation’s sustainability and long-term growth.
  • Champion equity, diversity, and accessibility across all artistic programming and company practices.
  • Lead with creativity, integrity, and care while inspiring the next generation of artists and audiences.
  • Shape the organisation’s post-2026 artistic direction and contribute to its strategic vision.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in artistic leadership within theatre, performing arts, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaboration with young people and communities.
  • A strong track record of producing or directing high-quality, innovative, and socially relevant work.
  • Ability to inspire and lead teams with creativity and integrity.
  • A clear vision for the future of inclusive and community-driven theatre.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work in partnership with an Executive Director or leadership team.
  • Competitive salary of £37,500 – £42,500 (pro rata for part-time/job share).
  • Opportunity to shape the future of a respected and socially engaged theatre company.
  • Flexible role structure, supporting individual or shared leadership approaches.
  • The chance to make a lasting impact on young people, communities, and the wider arts sector.

Application Process

Interested applicants are encouraged to bring their own vision of artistic leadership to the role. Our client welcomes informal conversations prior to application for those wishing to explore the opportunity further.

If you are aligned with the organisation’s values, committed to co-creation, and ready to lead with creativity and care, we encourage you to apply.
