Working hours will be on a 4 on 4 off rotation including days and nights. 07.00 - 19.00 for 2 weeks then 19.00 - 07.00 for 2 weeks.
My client is an award-winning leading transport distributor with multiple operations in the UK. They have a fantastic opportunity to join the team at the Newark operation, supporting the logistics team who operate on a 24/7 basis.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a cost effective and efficient delivery plan that enables targets to be met and customers to maintain production whilst dealing with any real-time event management.
- Support with planning to ensure the planned number of drivers are all available to complete the delivery plan.
- Deputise for Operations Clerk out of their core hours - brief and debrief of drivers and ensure all drivers are signed off for work and that all debrief information is captured and inputted into the company system.
