My client is a specialist clinical trial supply company that prides itself on delivering an exceptional service to their customers and has built strong partnerships and networks on a global level to enable them to provide the best products for a variety of clinical trials. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Logistics Co-ordinator with pharmaceutical experience to support operations and compliance activities within their European Head Office in Limerick. This role will be part office/home based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and execute the shipping of products on a global basis ensuring all activities conform to GDP.
- Creation and management of shipping documents, internal and external, on a global basis.
- Management and execution of inbound deliveries with the warehouse(s) including scheduling, receipt of products, stock inventory reconciliation.
- Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with limited delay, including but not limited to; obtaining shipping costs, scheduling collections and deliveries, resolving issues and seeing the process through to delivery.
- Handling import and export procedures as required, with the courier and/or warehouse.
