My client is one of the market leaders in providing short term computer rental and AV hire services to a range of customers through the UK and Europe. Due to growth, they have an opportunity for a warehouse operative to join their busy team. Based out of the Wokingham office, the ideal candidate will have a flexible can-do attitude and previous experience within a warehouse environment.
To provide support and assistance in the day-to-day activities of a busy despatch department covering shipments mainly to the UK but including Europe and the rest of the world. The duties will include being involved in all aspects of the department from packing to delivering.
- Package and palletise a wide range of goods from small parcels to large pallet loads.
- Making bookings, following up queries and resolving shipping issues with logistics partners.
- On occasion, you will be required to conduct deliveries and collections using the company vehicles.
- Make appropriate bookings with couriers to undertake the delivery in the desired timescale with minimal cost to the business.
- Make appropriate bookings to arrange the collection of rental equipment from customers.
