My client is a specialist clinical trial supply company that prides itself on delivering exceptional service to their customers and has built strong partnerships and networks on a global level to provide the best products for a variety of clinical trials. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Clinical Trial Project Manager to join them. Previous experience within the clinical trial sector is essential. The role is home-based with occasional travel to the head office based in Burton on Trent.
Responsibilities:
- Managing up to 7 global key accounts.
- Be the key point of contact for both external customers and suppliers, managing relationships to ensure expectations are met and managed where required.
- Provide an excellent level of service to existing and new customers on a daily basis via telephone, email, and face-to-face on occasions.
- Deal with any queries or complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work closely with other team members and external shipping companies to ensure all orders are fulfilled within agreed timescales.
- Sourcing the best products for customers in line with their requirements.
- Arrange shipping of products via airfreight and negotiate prices.
- Gain a good working knowledge of existing and new products available.
- Create reports on service levels for the senior management team.
- Adhere to all required guidelines and legislative standards.
- Maintain all documents and records within the company's system and in line with GDPR regulations.
- Maintain customer orders and increase opportunities where possible.
- Make recommendations on services and new products to existing and new customers.
- Provide new/repeat quotations.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous account management experience within pharmaceuticals/clinical trials sector.
- Experience in airfreight shipping.
- Previous experience in sourcing products on a global level.
The role is home-based with occasional travel to the head office based in Burton on Trent. In return, they offer an excellent basic salary, 25 days holiday, annual bonus scheme, and an excellent working environment. Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
