My client is one of the market leaders in providing short term computer rental and AV hire services to a range of customers through the UK and Europe.
Due to growth they have an opportunity for a warehouse operative to join their busy team.
Based out of the Wokingham office, the ideal candidate will have a flexible can-do attitude and previous experience within a warehouse environment.
To provide support and assistance in the day to day activities of a busy despatch department covering shipments mainly to the UK but including Europe and the rest of the world.
The duties will include being involved in all aspects of the department from the packing to delivering.
Duties include Package and palletise a wide range of goods from small parcels to large pallet loads.
Making bookings, follow up queries and resolve shipping issues with logistics partners.
On occasion you will be required to conduct deliveries and collections using the company vehicles.
Make appropriate booking with couriers to undertake the delivery in the desired timescale with the minimal cost to the business.
Make appropriate bookings to arrange the collection of rental equipment from customer site within the required timescale Keep the bespoke computer system fully up to date.
Handle any shipping queries generated by the sales staff or from customers.
Organising route schedules for a small fleet of delivery and services staff
Training will be provided Previous experience in a similar role and full driving license is essential.
The standard working hours are 09.00 - 17.30 Benefits include Overtime paid at T and double outside of standard hours Excellent working environment and career progression 25 days holiday +
