05.00 – 14.00 / 12.00 – 21.00 rotating Our company is seeking a mechanical Fitter to join our friendly and energetic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working within a production setting, using modern tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks such as PPM, plant breakdowns, fabrication, assembling components and fit pipes and other various parts. We are seeking someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, follow detailed work plans, and provide high-quality workmanship while adhering to strict safety standards. The role is shift based , rotating early shift 05.00-1400 and afternoon shift is 1200-2100 ( 45-hour week) Responsibilities Use hand tools and power tools to carry out maintenance tasks and fabricate of components. Welding and use of oxy/ propane cutting for fabrication Work as part of the fitting team carrying out daily inspections Follow blueprints and diagrams to fabricate parts. Use callipers to measure materials accurately. Skills/Experience Previous fitting experience essential Experience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment Be able to work on own initiative
