About Us

Our client is passionate about helping children and young people with learning disabilities and special educational needs (SEN) live happy, safe, and fulfilling lives. They are opening a 3-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in South Norwood for children aged 8 to 18 years old, and they are looking for a Registered Manager to lead the home, shape its culture, and inspire a brand-new team.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the home's operations, quality, and compliance. You will create a nurturing, supportive environment where every young person feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their potential. Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.

  • Promote safeguarding, emotional well-being, and positive outcomes for all residents.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or senior role within a children's residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and children's home standards.
  • Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (Level 5 Leadership preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A caring, child-centred approach and commitment to achieving best outcomes.
  • Experience leading successful Ofsted inspections.
