Registered Manager Children\’s Home (Learning Disabilities / SEN)Location: South Norwood, London

About UsOur client is passionate about helping children and young people with learning disabilities and special educational needs (SEN) live happy, safe, and fulfilling lives.

They are opening a 3-bed Ofsted-registered children\’s home in South Norwood for children aged 8 to 18 years old and they are looking for a Registered Manager to lead the home, shape its culture, and inspire a brand-new team.

The RoleAs the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the home\’s operations, quality, and compliance. You will create a nurturing, supportive environment where every young person feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their potential.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day running of the children\’s home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.

Recruit, train, and inspire your staff team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

Develop individual care plans tailored to each child\’s unique needs and goals.

Promote safeguarding, emotional well-being, and positive outcomes for all residents.

Work closely with families, local authorities, and other professionals to ensure joined-up support.

Manage budgets, oversee audits, and drive continuous improvement across the service.

About You

We\’re looking for someone passionate, dedicated, and ready to make a real difference.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or senior role within a children\’s residential setting.

Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and children\’s home standards.

Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (Level 5 Leadership preferred).

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

A caring, child-centred approach and commitment to achieving the best outcomes.

Experience leading successful Ofsted inspections.
