Registered Manager Residential Children\’s Home
Location:Kent
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a passionate and experienced leader in children\’s residential care? We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee our newly established children\’s home in Maidstone, Kent.

About the Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). The Registered Manager will lead a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team to provide outstanding care
  • Ensure compliance with Children\’s Home Regulations & Ofsted standards
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, and staff training
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively
  • The Registered Manager will maintain strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children\’s residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children\’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
  • Passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable children
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team effectively
