Social Personnel is proud to be working with Barking & Dagenham Council, currently recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Assessment & Intervention Service.   • Manage a complex caseload and deliver timely, effective assessments and interventions
  • Ensure the voice of the child is central to all decision-making and recorded consistently
  • Coach and support less experienced colleagues within the team
  • Deputise for the Team Manager when required
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of practice, standards, and service delivery
  • Be a key part of an improving, resilient service with a clear vision and relational practice model

About You:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Completed ASYE and substantial post-qualification experience in frontline child protection work
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Confident in managing complex risk and multi-agency working
  • Committed to relationship-based practice and achieving the best for children and families
