We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive educational setting in the Hillingdon area. About the Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Speech and Language Needs
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties

Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative and personalised lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Develop and implement EHCP targets and support plans
  • Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records
  • Foster positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN pupils preferred
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
