Are you an experienced Plaster Technician looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking clinical team? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Plaster Technician to work within a busy Trauma Orthopaedic setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • You will work closely with Orthopaedic Consultants, Nurses and the wider MDT to provide expert plaster application and removal services, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application, adjustment and removal of plaster casts and splints
  • Assisting in fracture clinics and minor injury settings
  • Advising patients on cast care and aftercare instructions
  • Maintaining clinical standards and infection control protocols
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure efficient clinic flow

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Plaster Technician within a clinical setting
  • BOA Casting Certificate (or equivalent) desirable
  • Strong understanding of fracture management and immobilisation techniques
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Calm under pressure with strong organisational ability
