Amaré Health are currently looking for a number of Pharmacists to work in a hospital setting.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a clinical pharmacist.
  • Previous ward experience is a bonus.
  • Broad experience of working in pharmacy including working within a hospital pharmacy department.
  • Experience of working with and influencing staff from other healthcare professions.
  • Must be GPHC registered.
  • Good oral & written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates expert clinical knowledge with respect to the use of drugs.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
  • Able to use initiative to problem solve.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good supervision skills.
  • Meets set targets.
  • Good organisational skills and time management.
  • Understanding of national and local priorities.
  • Knowledge and implementation of clinical governance.
  • Medicines information skills.
  • Ability to use pharmacy computer systems and common Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to perform tasks required of a pharmacist (clinical screening, dispensing, checking, working with prescribers and patients).
