We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist school in North West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and helping them achieve both academically and personally.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may display challenging behaviour, emotional regulation difficulties, autism, ADHD, trauma-related needs, or additional learning barriers. You will support students both inside and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Previous experience working with children or young people preferred
  • Experience supporting SEMH, SEN, ASD, ADHD, or behavioural needs desirable
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable young people
