The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Sponsorship NOT available. There is the possibility of additional hours above the 37 hour per week.
The support workers will need to:
- Work a full rota of lates, early and weekends
- Be medication trained and administer
- Be LD experienced
- Ideally have experience in complex health needs also
It is supported living for 6 adults with a learning disability and due to open at the end of April / May. We would want the staff for at least a week prior to opening for training and preparation.
Essential training requirements:
- Medication (including administering)
- Manual handling (the role will require moving and handling people safely)
- Adult protection awareness
- Basic personal care and hygiene
- Continence aids/catheter care
- COSHH
- Emergency first aid
- Equality and diversity
- Food hygiene
- Nutrition and hydration
- Infection control
The regular shifts are as follows:
- Early - 07:30 to 15:00
- Late - 14:30 - 22:00
- Night - 21:45 - 07:45
