We’re now offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced carpenter to bring their skills into the marine industry and become part of our Boat Building Team — with full on-the-job training and support.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated carpenter with a strong background in domestic or commercial carpentry, who is eager to apply their expertise in a marine environment. Working alongside experienced marine engineers and fabricators, you’ll help fit out vessel interiors, including:
- Kitchen and galley installations
- Crew accommodation and living spaces
- Wall panels, linings and bulkheads
- Custom joinery and interior fittings
- Doors, flooring and finishing work
What You’ll Do
- Install, fit and finish interior carpentry elements onboard vessels
- Work with marine-grade materials and specialist fittings
- Interpret drawings and plans
- Carry out adjustments and problem-solving during builds and refits
- Collaborate closely with other trades and engineering teams on-site
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Carpenter
- Experience in joinery, interior fit-out or site carpentry
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Willingness to learn and adapt to marine standards and environments
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
