We are currently seeking one reliable and proactive Part-Time Cleaning Operative to join our team at a busy office and factory site. This role is essential in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment at one of our prestigious sites based in Newport.
Each operative will be responsible for a combination of internal cleaning including kitchens, washrooms and office cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular cleaning duties across internal areas such as offices, staff rooms, kitchens, and washrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness on the factory corridors, including sweeping, mopping, and handling spillages.
- Support with segregation and disposal of recycling and general waste in line with company procedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (e.g. floor scrubbers, vacuums, etc.).
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies when necessary.
- Complete cleaning checklists and logs accurately.
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Respond to any urgent cleaning requests as required.
- Work collaboratively with the cleaning team and site staff to uphold cleanliness standards.
Hours of work: Monday- Friday
