We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Clinical Support Nurse to join our Central service team at Diverse Abilities. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of high quality, safe and person-centred care for adults with complex needs and disabilities. Combining hands‑on clinical practice with strategic responsibility for clinical audit, training, and quality improvements. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact across our Charity.
- Deliver high‑quality clinical care to adults with complex care needs
- Support children with complex needs where required
- Maintain clinical competency and act as a visible clinical role model
- Complete regular clinical audits and support service improvements
- Provide clinical oversight and cover across services as needed
- Support transition and supported living services
- Respond to clinical changes, safeguarding concerns, and emergencies
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, internal policies, and best practice
- Contribute to clinical training design, delivery, and evaluation
- Promote safeguarding, infection control, and high clinical standards
What are we looking for?
- Current professional registration (e.g. Registered Adult Nurse)
- Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to best practice
- Recent senior‑level experience in an acute clinical setting
- Experience working with adults and/or children with disabilities
- Excellent communication, organisation and decision‑making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across services
- UK Manual driving license with business insurance and use of own vehicle
Desirable (or willingness to develop):
- Experience in clinical audit, quality improvement or training delivery
- Experience leading clinical or practice development
