Adult Services – Supporting Living, Poole & Bournemouth

We are looking to recruit a female on call assistant to join our Supported Living team providing care to adults with disabilities in their own home. Our Supported Living Team work hard to provide care around the clock, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year. There’s a whole range of fantastic characters for you to meet and get to know when you’re working with us.

*Due to the current demands on the service, we require a FEMALE On Call Support Assistant*

Vacancy one – 25 hours per week
Week one:
Monday 5pm – 10pm (on call overnight until 7am Tuesday)
Wednesday 7am – midday (on call overnight until 7am Thursday)
Friday 7am – 10pm (on call overnight until 7am Saturday)

Week two:
Sunday 7am – 10pm (on call overnight until 7am Monday)
Friday Midday – 10pm (on call overnight until 7am Saturday)

Vacancy two – 15 hours per week

Week One:

Sunday: 5pm-10pm (On call overnight until 7am Monday)Monday: 7am-MiddayFriday: 5pm-10pm(On call overnight until 7am Saturday)

Week Two:

Sunday: 5pm-10pm (On call overnight until 7am Monday)Wednesday 5pm-10pm(On call overnight until 7am Thursday)

This role requires staff to:

provide excellent level of support and care

maintain accurate daily records

provide support for daily living tasks to enable & promote independence

Essential skills required:

full, UK manual driving licence

understanding of resource management & planning

ability to manage own workload
