We are looking to recruit Short Breaks Crew to join our Children’s Team across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, including our main venue, The Treehouse, in Hurn. Your role is to support more complex children and young people with additional emotional needs and disabilities and their siblings in their play at a variety of activities and to ensure positive outcomes and the continual safety, health, and wellbeing of the children and young people using Children’s Services.
Due to statutory safeguarding, staffing-ratio, and session-structure requirements, we are only able to employ individuals who have passed compulsory school-leaving age. Applicants may be asked to provide evidence of this as part of our recruitment checks.
- Support children and young people to fulfil their social and emotional needs through play/activities.
- Provide an excellent level of support and care, taking the time to listen to, understand and ensure the children and young people we support remain the focus of your work at all times.
