We are recruiting a locum Speech and Language Therapist to join a dedicated team at an SEN School in London. Key Responsibilities- Assess and support students with speech, language, and communication difficulties, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
- Develop and implement personalised therapy plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilising evidence-based practices.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
- Provide training and advice to school staff and parents on communication strategies that can be incorporated into daily routines.
- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
- HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience in working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Strong knowledge of a range of speech, language, and communication difficulties, including ASD, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
- Experience working in an educational setting or with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
