We are recruiting a locum
Speech and Language Therapist
to join a dedicated team at an
SEN School
in London.
This role offers the chance to work in a
supportive and dynamic environment
, providing tailored interventions to children and young people with a variety of complex communication needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and support students with speech, language, and communication difficulties, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
Develop and implement personalised therapy plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilising evidence-based practices.
Monitor and report on the progress of students, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
Provide training and advice to school staff and parents on communication strategies that can be incorporated into daily routines.
Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
Requirements
HCPC registered
Speech and Language Therapist
with experience in working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
Strong knowledge of a range of speech, language, and communication difficulties, including ASD, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
Experience working in an educational setting or with children with SEN is highly desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for helping children reach their full potential through effective therapy.
