An exciting new PART TIME permanent position (21 hours per week) is available for a Youth Opportunities Officer for this well established, independent charity based in Redhill. Our clients mission is to provide opportunities for people to develop to their full potential, with a focus on children and young people and those who are vulnerable, have a disability or face disadvantage. We are recruiting for a Youth Opportunities Officer to join our Housing team.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating a resident engagement programme designed for inactive young people, leading them on a bespoke journey towards employment, volunteering, education, and training. The role will help the team deliver a safe, supportive, and person-centred service for young people and vulnerable adults accessing East Surrey's housing.
This role requires someone with a minimum of NVQ Level 2 standard qualification or equivalent in Housing, Social Work, or Youth Work (or is willing to complete such a qualification alongside their job role within the next twelve months).
Key Responsibilities:- To promote, co-ordinate and deliver the resident journey programme to residents of our East Surrey Housing Services.
