Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and timely freight quotations for import, export, and cross-trade shipments.
- Source and negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and logistics partners.
- Analyse freight costs, margins, and market trends to ensure commercially viable pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales teams to support customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Respond to client and sales enquiries regarding transportation costs, transit times, and service options.
- Support with submissions, RFQs (Requests for Quotation), and pricing proposals for new business opportunities.
- Monitor pricing accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and customer agreements.
