This well established, expanding freight forwarder based in Feltham near Heathrow, has a new position available for an experienced import clerk, the successful candidate should have thorough knowledge of import airfreight shipments and or sea/road including a high level of Customs entry knowledge.
Skills/Duties
- Import Clerk
- Knowledge of import and or air, sea, road experience; 2 years experience upwards inc Customs Clearances, the salary is dependant on experience
- Varied role with cross training, air/sea/road.
- Handling shipments start to finish from shipper to consignee.
- Handling air/sea/road/EU declarations etc.
- Use ASM Sequoia and Boxtop.
- Good English Communication and customer service skills are essential
- Commercially aware person who can use their initiative and have a flexible attitude
