Our client is a high-end jewellery company based in Central London. They are seeking an experienced Stock Control Coordinator for their head office. The Stock Control team plays a crucial role in their operational business by overseeing daily stock control operations and ensuring that all stock procedures and audit requirements are respected.
As a Stock Control Coordinator, you will be responsible to support the overall business regarding stock and administration functions. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of experts, working in a growing business environment.
Must have the following skills:
- Stock Management
- Inventory and organisation
- Responsible to coordinate stock control operations
- Monitoring stock movements: preparation and allocation (stores, meetings, exhibitions)
- Stock control: planner & organiser of stock inventory & investigation if needed
- Oversee and track the stock in-transit receipt
- Alerting key management when high level of stock movement is actioned
- Coordinate safe-transit practice with key management teams
- Keep inventory records
- SAP: Responsible that the physical stock is aligned with the stock informatically
- Processes and procedure: Challenge and improve processes when necessary
- Implement new processes - lead and coordinate with the different teams
- Additional ad hoc projects and responsibilities
- Partner with IT to improve the system and the efficiency of the team
Experience and professional competencies:
- Background in jewellery or in luxury is mandatory
- Passionate or strong interest for the jewellery industry is a plus
- Experience in a stock control role would be ideal
- Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint and Word and SAP system knowledge a plus
- Detail oriented and excellent organisation and follow-up skills
- Proactive and adaptable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, manage high workload and emphasis on prioritisation and changing deadlines
- Commercially driven
