Our client is a well respected and world class distributor of functional ingredients and is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager. This role oversees Regulatory strategy for the organisation, providing leadership and guidance to the business on Regulatory matters for Food, Feed and Personal care activity in the UK and other markets to drive compliance within their ingredient agent, brokerage and solution manufacturing businesses. You will manage 1 Regulatory affairs specialist and report to the European Quality Manager. The Key Responsibilities: Ensure Regulatory Compliance with food and feed safety, quality and defence as it relates to UK, EU and GFSI (BRC) requirements, Organic, Halal, FAMI QS and Kosher Develop and maintain Regulatory strategies for existing ingredients and new ingredients/products in the UK and EU regions ensuring compliance to but not limited to Allergens, REACH, Novel Food, Packaging Food Contract Materials, Food Law and Labelling. Feed laws and labelling, Residues and Contaminates, Natural and Botanical Ingredients etc. Monitor changes in legislations and regulatory requirements, pro actively assessing impact on business and updating senior management team compliance protocols as necessary.
