Our client are a small, expanding freight forwarding company specialising in the niche fine art shipping industry who have an exciting new role available for an experienced air export professional to join the expanding team. Must have previous air export knowledge, and/or art shipping industry experience is highly desirable.
Professional export clerk with previous air freight export operations & Customs & Art shipping knowledge, salary relevant to experience.
Skills Required for the Export Clerk:
- Previous air export operations/art shipping & Customs knowledge
- Able to cut and rate Master/House waybills
- Knowledge of Customs entries and various Customs systems (CDS)
- Experience of shipping fine arts & high value goods highly desirable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
- Broad scope of completing air export shipments, start to finish
- Using CargoWise (previous experience advantageous but not essential)
Employment Terms Required for the Export Clerk:
- Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm / 8:30-5:25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Based in the office 5 days per week - 1 WFH day/hybrid post probation
- Car Driver/Own transport for commuting
- £35k DOE & Negotiable
