In this role, youll coordinate all aspects of streetworks activity, ensuring compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) 1991 and local regulations. Its a fast-paced environment with a need for clear communication and quick responsesespecially when Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs) come in with a tight two-hour turnaround.

Streetworks Coordinator Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with local authorities, Highways England, contractors, and internal teams to secure permits and approvals
  • Tracking progress on active streetworks and providing regular updates
  • Supporting project managers with effective and compliant project plans
  • Conducting remote site assessments and resolving logistical challenges
