A well-established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Contract Tester Electrician to support a growing workload across South London. This is a contract role paid on price work, ideal for someone who is efficient, accurate, and confident working independently.
Responsibilities:
- Complete EICRs, testing, certification, and remedials across domestic properties
- Occasional lite commercial testing (small offices, retail units, community buildings)
- Work from pre-planned routes with consistent workflow
- Produce accurate digital reports in line with current regulations
- Communicate with office staff and supervisors to ensure smooth job progression
Requirements:
- Fully qualified electrician with Gold Card or NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical + AM2
- 18th edition wiring regulations (17th as a minimum)
- 2391 / 2394 & 2395 or equivalent testing & inspection qualification
- Strong domestic testing experience; commercial exposure beneficial
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage your own workload
- Own van, tools, and calibrated test equipment
